About Alison

Media Training | On Camera Coaching | Brand Strategy

Through my company, Alison Deyette Media, I provide media training, on camera coaching, public speaking and  communication skills, image consulting, and brand strategy development. I work with a diverse clientele including CEOs, executives, entrepreneurs, celebrities, doctors, athletes, on-air personalities and experts for television, video series, interviews, and speaking engagements. I meet with clients in person, and remotely and have led group sessions for companies and teams. I curate the training depending on the client's needs and upcoming projects.

My approach is to be direct and honest but ensure that my clients enjoy learning how to be clear, concise, comfortable, and confident whether on stage, in a conference room or interacting with any form of media. I work with clients to build awareness around their strengths and blind spots so that they deliver a message that’s genuine, authentic, and valuable. I also guide clients on their overall image and wardrobe. In just the last few months, I helped a CEO with writing her speech and prepped her to speak at a conference for Proctor & Gamble with over 110K attendees (in person and virtually), another CEO with her speech and prep for an international conference in Asia to 3,000 attendees, guided a beauty brand CEO with her Shark Tank pitch (which led to Mark Cuban's first-ever makeup investment), and created messaging and coached both a shapewear brand and a beauty brand CEO on QVC which led to more than 1.3 and 1.5 million each in sales in just 24 hours. I also media trained a celebrity realtor on seasons one and two of their show on HGTV/Discovery, a clinical psychiatrist on her book launch, a founder of a new dating app, and a group of up-and-coming NBA players from the Houston Rockets, Denver Nuggets, and Chicago Bulls and football players entering the NFL draft.

Outside of media training, I have over twenty years of on-camera and digital media experience under my belt, hosting and producing national TV shows and award-winning digital series. I work as an on-camera expert for a variety of national outlets including The Kelly Clarkson Show, Access Hollywood, EXTRA, The View, Today, Dr. Phil, and Good Morning America plus 16 years on the #1 morning news program in LA, KTLA.

I have worked regularly with a long list of brands as their spokesperson and brand strategist, helping to develop, expand and craft their editorial content, scripts and messaging for television, web series, and publications. Some of those brands and companies include Amazon, JCPenney, The Home Depot, Playtex, American Express, Hotels.com, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Michaels, Kraft, Nintendo, Kohl’s, Garnier, and Mattress Firm. I have made regular appearances on QVC and HSN for the last 13 years. I’ve also hosted speaking engagements and panel discussions with companies including HBO, Nestle, Pepsi, Bear Stearns, and AXA Financial in front of audiences of as large as 7,000 people.

Before my on-camera career, I worked as a print journalist and magazine director. I, presently, contribute to a variety of national print and online publications, including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Washington Post, New York, The Strategist, InStyle, O the Oprah magazine, People, Real Simple, USA Today, and The Cut. Plus, I've interviewed over 400 celebrities including Ryan Gosling, Jessica Chastain, Salma Hayek, and Steve Carell - a list that reads from Anna Kendrick to Zoe Saldana.
